The key stays on your local server; it is never sent to the browser. A new topic search uses approximately 101 API quota units. Results are cached for 15 minutes; replay reshuffles without another search.
Discovery searches #shorts and filters to 3 minutes or less. YouTube does not expose a Shorts-only filter, so some regular short videos may appear. Playback uses YouTube’s player with its branding. Backgrounds use blurred thumbnails.
The left clip shows its views. Guess whether the right clip has higher or lower views.
First round: left plays, then right. Later rounds autoplay only the new challenger. Tap either video to replay it. Counts are recorded snapshots, not live counters. Mixed-platform views use different counting methods.

Automatic lookup is available on the local server with a YouTube API key. Other sources use the fields below.
